Celebrity Surgery Disasters – Money can’t buy your health

On January 30th 2016, the Daily Mail ran an article about the healing of the rift between Phil Collins and his ex-wife Orianne Cevey. In 2008, their divorce cost a record £25 million, but with time, their relationship has healed and they have now been back together for the last 6 months. Unfortunately, the pair have both suffered with back problems in recent years. Rather than seeking non invasive treatment, they both accepted advice of their medical professionals to go under the knife and have paid a heavier price than their divorce for this decision. In an article that talks about ‘The Truth About Back surgery‘ , they say that of the 56 million Americans suffering with back pain, only 5% should opt for back surgery. Sadly that is not the case and the horrendous stories you hear about back surgery that has not worked and in fact has made the patient even worse, are ever increasing.

Severe Pain Drives Michelle Watt To Tragic Suicide

Former 60 minute makeover host Michelle Watt aged at just 38, sadly took her own life. But what makes this tragic loss even worse is what drove Michelle to take such drastic action. After experiencing headaches, Michelle was referred to hospital and underwent a spinal procedure involving the insertion of a needle into the spine. This was merely to ‘test’ for problems that could have been causing the original headaches, but left Michelle in excruciating and unbearable pain for the remainder of her short life.
